Trick or Treat time! I can't resist Pottery Barn costumes, they really are the best. Happy Halloween everyone! More shots from today on Flickr.
A picture a day for one year. Throughout this journey I hope to grow into the photographer I want to become and learn along the way.

Day 90
Pumpkin carving turned into a whole other adventure when the cat was more interested in the inside than my daughter. I swear she will eat anything.

Day 89
I think it was close to 70 outside today. I am so happy the weather seems to be holding out. Trick-or-treating is no fun when you have to do it in winter coats. If you see a common theme emerging in my shots over the past few days as far as appearance goes I am in love with a newly learned post processing technique called the Orton Effect.

Day 88
I didn't think this kitty wig was going to go over very well and I was right but I got my shot.

Day 87
I had this t-shirt made mostly for myself. This is me showing my somewhat geeky side. I am a World of Warcraft player. I have numerous level 70 toons and am definitely a Horde girl. If you have no idea what any of the above means. That is okay. :)

Day 86
Pretty good work I'd say coming from a not quite 4 year old. Of course that is the mommy in me talking.

Day 84
This is my lucky frog. I carry him with me everywhere hidden inside my purse. He is not much bigger than my fingernail.

Day 83
I tried to sit down and scrapbook for a bit today. Some days it just doesn't come to me and I can sit and look a page for hours and come up with nothing I like. So I packed it all back up to try again for another day.

Day 82
School field trip day to the corn maze. I swear she was having fun besides being sick and it being just above freezing outside.

Day 82
No big piles of leaves in our yard for awhile. On the plus side, no raking for a few more years when our baby trees get a bit bigger.

Day 80
I'm a mess today. My child has a cold and woke up at some horrid time this morning so I have been cranky all day. I normally don't wear t-shirts that often. This is one I had made up at an embroidery shop for scrapbooking.

Day 79
Had a great time today with the Boise Photowalkers. This is my favorite of the shots I have gone through so far.

Day 78
What a perfect day today. We did a family outing to the corn maze and picked out our pumpkins from the field. Such a contrast from the snow we had last week.

Day 74
The 2nd time this week I have put off a photo until sunset and scrambled at the last minute to get something exciting for the day.

Day 72
The view through my frosted glass window in the bedroom at sunset. The dark bottom color is the fence.

Day 71
Brrrrr! I frosted my toes and fingers outside first thing this morning before the fog burnt off. But I am sure glad I did!

Day 70
It actually SNOWED today. I can't believe it. One of those days that makes you want to curl up in bed with a good book.

Day 69
The little monster had some dress up time with Grandma tonight. I had a hard time getting her to stand still long enough for a shot.

Day 68
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Too many women in my family already have been affected by this disease. I know I am probably going to be at high risk as well. Don't forget to do your monthly exams ladies!

Day 67
Got started on the Halloween decorations today and Miss Tika decided she was fragile material. Converted to black and white due to the high ISO.

Day 66
The Little Monster has figured out how to use the computer all by herself. We get her set up on Playhouse Disney and she is just lost in the world of games. I am so amazed how fast she picked up on clicking with the mouse.

Day 65
Our last day in Seattle. My husband took me to see his old stomping grounds at University of Washington. These two birds were huddled up in the tree. The dreary weather made this a great black and white. My telephoto lens and lack of steady hands or tripod however did not help.
Day 64
We ventured first thing in the morning to Pike Place Market. My husband told me this was the place to visit if you came to Seattle. What a unique experience it was. Open air markets up several levels of steps. Fresh fish, flowers and produce everywhere.
Day 63
I'm a little late in updating my 365 shots because we took a quick getaway trip to Seattle this weekend. Our first night ended with dinner at the Space Needle. The weather was horrible but the dinner was wonderful.

Day 62
A sad day. I had to throw out my favorite pair of capris today. Not only are the days numbered this year for wearing them but they finally gave out with a huge rip. They lasted several years but just didn't quite make it through this season.

Day 61
I am not feeling in the groove with my photography today. I tried to shoot in manual today instead of aperture mode which I usually do and ended up with a lot of crap shots. I went with my daughter to the zoo for a field trip and was so disappointed with most of the shots. This is probably my best and most properly exposed one out of them all and it isn't even of the zoo.
