I'm sort of cheating today and using a shot from the real estate listing I took today. Usually I would take a separate photo but their backyard was too beautiful not to share.
I'm still very much learning shooting real estate. I think my outdoor shots are improving because I am taking multiple exposures and merging them in Photomatix. I struggle inside using lighting and think I may switch to that method as well.

Really like the touch of golden light above the patio, and the mottled light on the lawn to the left.
You did a great job showing both sunny and shaded areas in the same image. Did you use any strobes for fill? Great looking retreat! Here are some tips for indoors in case you're interested and haven't seen these yet:
