Day 263

Refresh, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

It is a hot one out there today! Well not Idaho summer scorching hot yet but very warm for a Spring day. A trip to Jamba Juice was definitely in order as my daughter and I were out running errands. Since today is Happy Pretty Pink Tuesday and the theme is pink food and drinks I had the idea to shoot my very yummy berry smoothie. I frosted the edge with sugar to make it look more like a margarita and popped it on a table outside. I was kind of in a hurry so I just used a reflector to bounce back some of the light since it was back lit. I didn't' realize I reflected the house window and my arm on the glass till I was already inside and drinking it.

Day 225.

The good stuff, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

We had my cousin and her husband over for fondue tonight. I've apparently had too much to drink to figure out a good description for this photo.

Day 169

Dinner and Drinks, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

Dinner, drinks, dessert. Then home in time to play World of Warcraft. My kind of night.

Day 120

Martini Reflection, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

I wouldn't dare waste alcohol for a shot so this is cranberry juice which made a nice sticky mess on my floor when I attempted to capture the ice cubes plunking in. In the end, I liked this shot better because of the reflection captured in the background.

Day 76

Lunch time, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

My daughter convinced me I needed to take her out to lunch today so we opted for the drive in. I was messing around with the manual settings on my point and shoot. Not my Nikon, but not bad either.

Day 59

My fav drink, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

I spent several hours playing with the camera today so I had a hard time choosing a photo for the day. This was set up using white foam board for reflection and a remote shutter release.
