Day 348

Berry Good, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

This is all that is left from the raspberries our neighbor brought us from her garden. I could easily eat fresh berries every day.

Day 244

Dinner!, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

Mmmm! I have been craving my mother's Hamburger beans all week and finally got around to making them tonight. My belly is so full now!

Day 212

Fortune, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

My cookie left over from Mongolian BBQ yesterday. Didn't have time to set up a shot for it then so I saved it for today. I actually liked the fortune inside the next cookie better but my daughter ate the cookie so I no longer had it to shoot. It said: "Remember this day 3 months from now, good things are coming your way."

Day 198

Noodles!, originally uploaded by Shutterbug Cel.

A quick shot snapped during dinner preparation and the only one as my batteries died in the flash shortly after. We had one of my favorite dishes to make: Mexican Spaghetti. It is an adaptation of a recipe I found in a magazine. Basically it involves ground turkey, salsa, taco seasoning, corn and whatever else you want to throw in. Serve over pasta and top with cheese, yum! This is also my very first photo using Photoshop CS4 and I feel like a photo virgin all over again. I am so used to Elements finding my way around is a little disorientating.

Not a lot of effort put into my shots today I will admit.

Day 117

Shall we start taking bets? Woke up this morning to check on the turkey in the fridge which should have been thawed. It wasn't. Put turkey in sink of water and covered to prevent cat from eating turkey. Go back to check on turkey hours later and found no water left in the sink. Sigh....
