This is another nighttime view from my backyard. I remembered late that I had yet to take my photo for the day. My husband pointed out how orange the moon was so as I was setting up to shoot I accidentally fired off this shot. It sadly turned out more interesting than the in focus ones of the moon and lights.

Day 285
Our first day in California. We dined at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. I was enthralled with the ceiling. Hand held shot with high ISO.
I have 300 plus photos to go through from the trip so I am just picking some simple ones to post as my dailies until I get through them all, rather than bore you with a ton of family vacation shots.

Day 122
The Christmas lights are up! Tonight a fog set in just after sunset which made them glow even more. I am sure I will resort to even more light pictures as the month goes on.

Day 41
This is the view from the New York New York hotel in Las Vegas. This is a horrible picture with too much noise and taken through the glass but it was the only one I had time to do that day.
