I didn't like how my previous photo came out for today so I tried something else. Also fits in nicely with the Flickr groups: Pretty Pink Tuesday's Spring Theme. I just got these shoes for my daughter. They have yet to be worn since she is pretty partial to her crocs. I attempted to get her in the backyard for a bit today but she panicked as usual and started screaming bloody murder. What the neighbors must think of me.

I have been trying to experiement a lot more with my speedlights and using flash in my photography. I found a great article today on high speed sync flash which is exactly what I needed for this shot. I used fill flash to fill in some of the harsh shadows from the sunlight. My husband spoiled me rotten as usual. We had a nice child-free evening at the Melting Pot. And yes, I had my martini's! Today I was lavished with Adobe Photoshop CS4 and a Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet. Plus he also farmed for hours in World of Warcraft to get me my very own Disgusting Oozling Pet. If you don't know what that is, let's just say that is true love. Now I need to get to installing it all so I can play!

I found this fabric in the craft store the other day and thought it would make a great background. All I found today to photograph was a pink feather boa. Not my best work. I realized after I was done I forgot to reset the ISO duh!

Today was the day I almost threw in the towel on Project 365. Lately I have been underwhelmed with my shots and am lacking the motivation to work on them. With the holidays coming things are only going to get more crazy.

This is one of the pink flowers my daughter got for her birthday yesterday from her Papa. The background is my pop-up reflector. I kind of whipped this all together as I was in the middle of making dinner.

I am not feeling in the groove with my photography today. I tried to shoot in manual today instead of aperture mode which I usually do and ended up with a lot of crap shots. I went with my daughter to the zoo for a field trip and was so disappointed with most of the shots. This is probably my best and most properly exposed one out of them all and it isn't even of the zoo.
