Note to self: Do not look directly at the sun, even through the camera. I'm still seeing spots. Could not see a damn thing trying to line up focus but luckily the first one turned out the best. Probably because my retinas were only partially damaged at that point.
On another note I would like to shamelessly self promote my new Etsy site. Some of my better works are now there for purchase as prints. More coming soon! Shutterbugcel.etsy.com
A picture a day for one year. Throughout this journey I hope to grow into the photographer I want to become and learn along the way.

Day 166
The fog is condensing on everything. It makes the trees so pretty. This is one my bushes in the front, soaking it all up.

Day 96
This is one of the rocks I have sprinkled through my flower beds. I found it while visiting my mom in Oregon on an old road. Part of a boulder had fallen down and broke apart to reveal this beautiful marble design.

Day 89
I think it was close to 70 outside today. I am so happy the weather seems to be holding out. Trick-or-treating is no fun when you have to do it in winter coats. If you see a common theme emerging in my shots over the past few days as far as appearance goes I am in love with a newly learned post processing technique called the Orton Effect.

Day 82
No big piles of leaves in our yard for awhile. On the plus side, no raking for a few more years when our baby trees get a bit bigger.

Day 71
Brrrrr! I frosted my toes and fingers outside first thing this morning before the fog burnt off. But I am sure glad I did!

Day 33
The sprinkler had just got done in the back yard this morning which left our bushes dripping with the perfect photo opportunity.

Day 14
The plums on the tree in my Dad's backyard are on with full force. This is my second attempt at photographing them and I'm still not happy with it. I did some experimenting with Photoshop to attempt to make it more appealing.
